I have always known from visiting Australia in decades past that it’s a charming country. The people are warm, healthy and happy kinda like the climate. The vistas are second to none and since it is an huge island country is pretty far removed from the rest of civilization. That is a good and at times not such a positive thing, especially when you aspire to visit again and again.
The fact that they love the great outdoors in general reflects well on their personality. Being as large and spread out as it is it can be a bit daunting for a first time visitor from any populous country to see no signs of life in remote areas of the ‘outback’. Nature at its best is very easy to see in this countrie’s stunning coastline, the Great Barrier Reef, Ayres Rock and a host of other unique sights. It goes w/o saying that the Australian accent is easily distinguishable to most everyone. The easy going, fun loving nature of the beer loving Australian rules football (rugby), cricket, soccer and tennis fans is a hallmark for their passion and zest for life. Im watching the Laver Cup tennis on TV right now and reminiscing about great tennis legends like Rod Laver, Roy Emerson, Ken Rosewall, Lew Hoad and tons of others and more recent stars of the past like Lleyton Hewitt,Pat Cash and Pat Rafter etc. I can go on and on but will end here by saying, it’s got to be on everyone’s bucket list, whether it’s for a short visit or a long stay. New Zealand is great as well! Love Australia, that place down under. Cheers Mate!
